I just experienced your ‘Drive Thru Difference!’ To 88.1 & the woman who blessed me and my son; “THANK YOU!!!” I go to church, read my bible, listen to 88.1 – I truly live by God’s word – with that shared, I have been struggling (to the point where it has been making me depressed – very depressed) – I’ve been feeling that there are just no ‘good’ people in this world. I’ve been loosing my ‘friends’ because of my beliefs; I’ve been ill-treated at work, struggling with major back pain etc… – and very much praying to God to give me the strength to make it thru all this to glorify HIM. I’ve been crying myself to sleep regularly because of the stress. I know the bible tells us to treat others how we want to be treated, to turn the other cheek, so again, thank you 88.1 and the woman at the McDonald’s drive thru. I cried all the way home to my son and shared this blessing to him… – thank you for reminding me that there are good people around!

I turned to drugs and alcohol at the age of 12 due to a history of rape and abuse from the time I was a very young girl..The Lord saved me when I was 17 years old by giving me courage to get help…After rehab followed by random relapses I find myself in Florida and listening to WAY-FM..it has literally saved my life on more than one occassion..it gives me hope for the future and helps me realize I am not alone and can make it though anything. Thank You so much for this amazing ministry!

I have 4 kids, ages 6-15 and I have been listening to WAYFM since my oldest was very young. I am so thankful that every time we get in the car, my kids hear the lifechanging messages that come through music, talk, etc. Even the ads glorify God! I believe that my kids are and will continue to be impacted for eternity because of what they have heard on WAY-FM. There is no way to place a value on what they have received. Four young lives (and countless others)are on the right path. Rather than feeling self conscience of their faith, WAY-FM has helped my kids to fully understand that Christ is the only thing going……everything else is just “fail” as they would say. Thats what i love about WAYFM. Thanks and Glory to God!

I was walking to class when two of my friends Miguel and Ryan came up to me and told me that my oldest brother had been expelled from our school (a Christian school). I didn’t know what to do so I walked to class with my face as pale as could be. I already knew that he had been smoking cigarettes and for all that and I knew he was getting deeper involved with some bad things but I didn’t know if he got caught or what. I sat in my elective flipping through my bible for answers but I wasn’t finding anything. So about 15 minutes later the bell rang and I went to another good friend of mine, Brian. I asked him what happened and he said my brother got caught dealing drugs in school. You can imagine how I felt, he just turned 16 and I am 12, but I do know a lot about the things he does. I went upstairs to my locker and cried for a while with my friends. the next day I opened my locker and found a pie of folded paper that someone had slipped through a hole, it said “druggie sister” I skipped first period in the bathroom feeling extremely sick .The 3rd day in 7th hour which is computer app I put headphones on and went to WAY-FM’s home page, because music has a way of speaking to me. I listened live for a while and this song came on “Everything Falls” by Fee it says that “when everything falls apart your arms hold me together when everything falls apart your the only hope for this heart” not only was my life being stomped on by my bros drug problem, but my mom had thought about divorcing for the 2nd time in her life. So things were really coming down. I didn’t have my real dad my mom was ready to divorce my step dad and my brother was having a drug issue. God had a way of speaking to me and I honestly believe that’s the only way I made it to today. And all these problems are still going on…but His arms are holding me together. Thanks WAY-FM.
